Newark Area Soccer Association is excited to announce that we will be running indoor soccer leagues this coming winter! NASA Winter Indoor League will be one of Newarks (OH) only indoor soccer leagues ran this winter.

The location will be ‘Fearless in the Zone’, FITZ for short at 111 S 21st St, right here in Newark!! League games will start January 26th and each team will play 8 games. Games will be played Saturdays and selected Tuesday evenings. The price will be $630 per team for the 8 games. $150 deposit is required on registration and the full amount is due by January 19th.

The leagues playing formats will be 4 v 4  (3 outfield player + 1 goalkeeper)  and the max roster per team will be 10 players (that is only $63 per player for the 8 games with a max roster!!) Divisions will be split by ability, age and then gender. This is depending on the numbers of registrations/teams we get.  

Register now for this exciting opportunity to play soccer this winter! We welcome all teams whether you are a club member or not. Coaches/team managers register their team on our website and full payment is due by November 17th. If you are interested in playing but do not have a team we have a free agent registration open which we can try our best to find/ build a team for you.

**If you are an individual player and are looking for a team, register as a free agent and NASA will look to find a team for you (there is no guarantee the player will find a team or not) 

Steps to Registering a Team:
1. Contact players and build a team roster at home with email address of each player
2. Coach will then register a team, choose team name, and pay $150 deposit
3. On confirmation email received after team registration click 'view team roster' button
4. Invite players via email from the 'Team Roster' homepage
5. Once player accepts team invite you will receive confirmation email
6. Collect payment off players and pay the remaining team fee 1 week before season

There is a $5 fee to sign up as a free agent.

FAQs

Who chooses the team name? - The coach/team admin who registers the team will be required to choose a team name.

Who can be on my team? - Teams can be formed as boys, girls or coed teams. 

How will the divisions be decided? - Divisions will be split by age and ability to ensure teams have similar skill levels. Your age group will be based on the age of your oldest player. NASA Indoor reserves the right to combine divisions (Boys, Girls or Co-ed) when necessary. 

What is the refund policy? - Once the divisions schedule is set and the season has begun, deposits and team payments will not be refunded under any circumstances. If a division was unable to be formed, the teams not assigned will receive a refund.

Do all players on my teams roster need to sign the wavier? - Yes, every player needs to sign the NASA Indoor wavier.

How is payment collected? - Team coaches must collect all the fees from their players and pay the team fee in full. This can be paid either online or in the NASA office.

What are the uniform requirements? - Teams must provide their own uniforms. The uniforms can be as simple as colored t-shirts. Team must always bring alternate colored t-shirt incase of color clash. Cleats or indoor soccer shoes are recommended. Tennis shoes can be worn. Shin guards are required to play.
