NASA 50/50 Raffle – Terms and Conditions

Newark Area Soccer Association (NASA) is excited to be holding a 50/50 raffle this September (2016), to which the rules and regulations are set forth below.
The grand prize drawing for this raffle will be held at 6pm on the last day of the month at the NASA club house, 600 Baker Blvd, Newark, Ohio, 43055. The drawing will be open to the public and will also be streamed live on the NASA Facebook page, the winner does not need to be present to win. Tickets will not be sold after the 28th of the month.

The winner must be over the age of 21 and will receive 50% of total ticket sales, the remaining 50% will go to the international coaches’ fund at NASA. The winner must present the winning ticket at the NASA office within 7 days of the prize draw for verification. Failure to do so will result in the winner prize being donated back to support the International coaches. The winner must also provide 2 forms of I.D. and will be responsible for any tax implications. NASA reserves the rights to refuse to acknowledge any tickets that appear to be fake or forged.

Ticket sellers are encouraged to write their full name on all ticket stubs that they sell. The seller of the winning ticket will receive $100 as long as their full name is clearly marked on the winning ticket stub. If there is no seller name on the winning ticket stub, the $100 prize will be donated back to NASA. Ticket seller must hand deliver all sold ticket stubs and money to the NASA office in a named and sealed envelope labeled 50/50 no later than September 28th. NASA will not be held responsible for the fate of any money or tickets mailed back to the office.

Tickets will be sold at $1 per ticket by NASA club members. An individual may purchase as many tickets as they like. NASA holds no responsibility for loss of tickets and no refunds are available.

Winning Odds: The odds of winning depends on the amount of tickets sold. If 1000 tickets are sold, the odds of winning the grand prize will be 1 in 1000. If more tickets are sold the odds will shorten. Maximum ticket count: 10,000

Grand Prize: The grand prize varies on the amount of tickets sold. If 1000 tickets are sold, the grand prize will be 50% of 1000 = $500. If more tickets are sold, the prize will increase. Maximum prize fund: $5000

By purchasing a raffle ticket, the purchaser agrees to be bound by these rules and regulations. NASA’s interpretation and application of the rules and regulations shall be final.
